  1. You know what’s probably also strong with this one? Its carbon footprint. i mean, gathering soap from all over the world, melting it and shipping it across the globe is a huuuuge expenditure. Meanwhile, actually making soap is very simple, requires little energy (i.e. Boiling water temperatures, not iron melting), and soap residue is not toxic. I mean, by the time you’re melting and filtering it’s pretty much making the soap from scratch.

    Not all recycling is created equal!

      What grates is the exploitative image of the smiling African kid. It’s like what kind of monster wouldn’t want to help THAT kid? Huh? HUH?!?
